Course Overview:

A combined course of CIPM + CIPP/E. Achieving a CIPM credential shows that you have a comprehensive knowledge of how data protection programs should work across an organization. Combine with a CIPP/E credential and prove that you not only can manage a data protection program, but you understand the regulations that govern them.

With a CIPM and CIPP/E combined you’ll be uniquely equipped to fulfill the DPO requirements of the GDPR. The CIPP/E relates to the knowledge a DPO must have concerning the European legal framework of the legislation, and the CIPM provides theoretical aspects necessary to lead an organization’s data protection policy.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) takes effect in 2018. Among its mandates is the requirement to appoint a knowledgeable Data Protection Officer (DPO) tasked with monitoring compliance, managing internal data protection activities, training data processing staff, conducting internal audits and more. Over twenty years experience in the area of Solaris, Linux, and Unix ensures that you are benefiting from a very mature and successful Solaris, Linux, and Unix training program.  TechNow offers the full suite of Solaris, Linux, and Unix courses utilizing real hardware.  This is not virtualized Solaris on Intel processors, or remote connection to a distant system.  The student learns to deal with real hardware taking advantage of Sparc T series processors. Course Overview:

This course covers the key elements required to understand and apply business analysis techniques in an IT-centric business environment.  It identifies key best practices to deal with the challenges of eliciting, analyzing, and specifying project requirements.  The key material in each section of this course is reinforced with a student driven lab scenario allowing each participant hands-on practice with the key business analysis concepts that are introduced in this course. At the end of the focused sections on business analysis techniques, the students will engage in a student-driven business analysis case study blending all the learned techniques into a finished product. This course is approximately 60% lecture and  40% lab time.

Course Overview:

In this course students will learn to configure the Linux kernel, install & configure modules, to install and configure non-default devices and automate installation with Kickstart. Students also utilize skills developed in L-245 to expand on file system configuration with spanning devices and RAID. This is the foremost server side Linux course in the industry covering all server side components such as DHCP, Samba, NIS, LDAP, inet, telnet ftp, dns, etc.  Expanding on security introduced in L-245: Linux System Administration I, TCP wrappers, firewalling with IP filters, SQUID, & ssh are covered.
