Course Overview:

Red Hat System Administration: Linux Automation with Ansible is designed for Linux administrators and developers who need to automate repeatable and error-prone steps for system provisioning, configuration, application deployment, and orchestration. TechNow’s Ansible course facilitates the dynamic IT infrastructure through automation.

This course also supports DevOps practices through Ansible playbooks automating workflows. TechNow has operated Automated Unix and Linux environment for over 35 years and brings this field experience to the classroom utilizing ansible and discussing its impact on: Infrastructure (Linux, Windows, network devices), Cloud automation (AWS and Azure), Application deployment, Security & compliance, and CI/CD pipelines.

PA-232: Palo Alto Networks Panorama Manage Multiple Firewalls (EDU-221)

Course Overview: PA-232: Palo Alto Networks Panorama Manage Multiple Firewalls (EDU-221) Training Class is a two-day course. Students attending this course will gain an in-depth knowledge of how to configure and manage their Palo Alto Networks Panorama Management Server. Upon completion of this course, administrators will understand the Panorama server’s role in managing and securing their overall network. Network professionals will learn to use Panorama’s aggregated reporting to provide them with a holistic view of a network of Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls. This is not a virtualized theoretical course. This is hands-on, real world instruction, directly relevant to the DoD and Commercial implementations of Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls.

Each student is issued a physical Palo Alto firewall and a Cisco layer 3 switch at their desk. Real hardware per student for real experience and real skill development.

TechNow provides a very comprehensive client infrastructure that includes Windows, Linux, and multiple packet sniffer agents. The instructor for this course has been a lead in Unix kernel development to implement firewall and intrusion detection technologies. Additionally, the instructor has taught several security appliance products and carries several SANS, ISC2, ISACA, Cisco, Unix, and Windows certifications.

This FastTrack course combines combines two VMware courses (VMware Cloud Essentials and vCloud Architecting the VMware Cloud) into a single week course that adds extra exercises and labs to exemplify the techniques presented. Instructor comments: Dave was great! (as always). Wealth of knowledge and a master at customizing course content to match the education level of his students. The class kept entirely in pace with where we were at as a group overall on a day to day basis.

Facilities comments: Facilities were overall really nice. The only complaint is that the hotel / conference center had us move rooms on one occasion, and kicked us out early on two others. I would assume this is due to the last minute location change, so I don't think there is anything anyone could have done better in the situation.
