Course Overview:

This course is developed for those individuals seeking to pass the Project Management Institute’s PMI-ACP Exam. PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® is one of the newest certifications offered by PMI and is expected to become the industry standard certification for agile over the next few years. The PMI-ACP® certification clearly illustrates to colleagues, organizations or even potential employers that students are ready and able to lead in this new age of product development, management, and delivery.

While preparing you for the exam, you will explore various approaches to agility including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Extreme Programming (XP), and Test-Driven Development (TDD). By the end of the course, you’ll have mastered the practices and techniques that Agile practitioners use to improve team performance, resolve problems and engage in continuous process improvements and be equipped with job-ready skills.

This course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and skills to use PowerShell for administering and automating administration of Windows servers. This course provides students the skills to identify and build the command they require to perform a specific task. In addition, students learn how to build scripts to accomplish advanced tasks such as automating repetitive tasks and generating reports. This course provides prerequisite skills supporting a broad range of Microsoft products, including Windows Server, Windows Client, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365. Course Overview:

PA-215: Palo Alto Networks Firewall Essentials FastTrack Training Class is a five-day course that teaches students to configure and manage the entire line of Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls. Through hands-on training, students learn high end skills of how to integrate Palo Alto next-generation firewalls into their network infrastructure.This is not a virtualized theoretical course.  This is hands-on, real world instruction, directly relevant to the DoD and Commercial implementations of Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls.

Each student is issued a physical Palo Alto firewall and a Cisco layer 3 switch at their desk.  Real hardware per student for real experience and real skill development.  TechNow provides a very comprehensive client infrastructure that includes Windows, Linux, and multiple packet sniffer agents.

This course sets up the foundation for the two day course PA-222: Palo Alto Networks Panorama Essentials.

The instructor for this course has been a lead in Unix kernel development to implement firewall and intrusion detection technologies.  Additionally, the instructor has taught several security appliance products and carries several SANS, Cisco, Unix, and Windows certifications.

TN-575: Open Source Network Security Monitoring teaches students how to deploy, build, and run an NSM operation using open source software and vendor-neutral tools. No network is bullet proof and when attackers access your network, this course will show you how to build a security net to detect, contain, and control the attacker. Sensitive data can be monitored and deep packet and deep attachment analysis can be achieved. As organizations stand up a Security Operations Center (SOC) the enterprise NSM is the key ingredient to that SOC. This course not only teaches how to implement an NSM technologically, but how to effectively monitor an enterprise operationally.
