Programming

TechNow offers the full gamut of programming languages from ANSI C and C++ to the various Microsoft .Net languages (Visual Basic, C# and C++).  If you are completely new to programming, TechNow offers courses that demonstrate the fundamentals to get you started.

If you prefer Unix/Linux, we offer Shell Programming, as well as, Perl and Python.  We also offer courses in the web development languages, such as, Java Servlets, JSP, and ASP .Net.

RH-305:Red Hat System Administration III: Linux Automation with Ansible

Course Overview:

Red Hat System Administration: Linux Automation with Ansible is designed for Linux administrators and developers who need to automate repeatable and error-prone steps for system provisioning, configuration, application deployment, and orchestration.  TechNow’s  Ansible course facilitates the dynamic IT infrastructure through automation.

This course also supports DevOps practices through Ansible playbooks automating workflows.  TechNow has operated Automated Unix and Linux environment for over 35 years and brings this field experience to the classroom utilizing ansible and discussing its impact on: Infrastructure (Linux, Windows, network devices), Cloud automation (AWS and Azure), Application deployment, Security & compliance, and CI/CD pipelines.

This course also ties in nicely with the TechNow course CL-355: Containers, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift Administration which provides an overview of the DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Platform (DSOP) Reference Design, its current state, and ties to DoD Cloud Platform One (P1).

PM-242: Defining Agile Requirements with User Stories

 

Course Overview: 

 

This course identifies how business analysts can elicit Agile requirements by writing user stories from use cases and personas of customer profiles.  This leads to the processes of confirming the validity and usability for quality of the product development.  An Agile Business Analyst has become a new recognized role within the other Agile Framework roles.

DP-201: Designing an Azure Data Solution

 

Course Overview:

In this course, the students will design various data platform technologies into solutions that are in line with business and technical requirements. This can include on-premises, cloud, and hybrid data scenarios which incorporate relational, NoSQL, or Data Warehouse data. They will also learn how to design process architectures using a range of technologies for both streaming and batch data. The students will also explore how to design data security, including data access, data policies, and standards. They will also design Azure data solutions, which includes the optimization, availability, and disaster recovery of big data, batch processing, and streaming data solutions.

TechNow has worked worldwide enterprise infrastructures for over 20 years and has developed demos and labs to exemplify the techniques required to demonstrate cloud technologies and to effectively manage security in the cloud environment.

Attendees to DP-201: Designing an Azure Data Solution will receive TechNow approved course materials and expert instruction.
