The System Administration I for Red Hat course is designed for IT professionals working to become full-time enterprise Linux system administrators. This course gives the student direct experience with the most essential system administration tasks in the Red Hat. TN-909: Windows Forensic Analysis

 

Course Overview:

Windows Forensic Analysis is a hands-on course that covers digital forensics of the Microsoft Windows operating system.  The collection and analysis of data tracking user based activity that can be used for internal purposes or legal litigation.  TechNow has the student analyze many data images for various Windows operating systems, as current as Windows 8.1, Windows 10  in an environment that uses many Cloud technologies such as  Office365, Skydrive, Sharepoint, Exchange Online, and Windows Phone.

This is not death by power point. The course is aligned with digital forensic investigators and executing hands-on labs. Lecture and labs walk the student through the knowledge required to truly understand the mechanics of Windows Forensic Analysis.

This hands-on course provides an intensive overview of fundamental UNIX commands that are common to all flavors of UNIX, but the focus is on RedHat. At the end of this course students will have a firm grasp of how the UNIX operating system works, how to accomplish powerful functions using multiple commands & most importantly of all, how to think UNIX. With the skills gained in this course, students can move on to RedHat System Administration I or Linux System Admnistration I.

Unix/Linux

Over twenty years experience in the area of Solaris, Linux, and Unix ensures that you are benefiting from a very mature and successful Solaris, Linux, and Unix training program.  TechNow offers the full suite of Solaris, Linux, and Unix courses utilizing real hardware.  This is not virtualized Solaris on Intel processors, or remote connection to a distant system.  The student learns to deal with real hardware taking advantage of Sparc T series processors. TN-835: Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) Preparation Seminar

Course Overview:

Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), is for professionals responsible for an organization's risk management program.  Students looking to acquire CRISC qualify themselves as IT security analyst, security engineer architect, information assurance program manager and senior IT auditor.  CRISC certified professionals manage risk, design and oversee response measures, monitor systems for risk, and ensure the organization's risk management strategies are met.

The CRISC exam will primarily align with the terminology and concepts described in The Risk IT Framework, The Risk IT Practioner Guide, and COBIT 5.  This will include applications in the evaluation and monitoring of IT-based risk, as well as the design and implementation of IS controls. 

The CRISC exam covers four domains that are periodically updated to reflect the changing needs of the profession:

  • Domain 1: Risk Identification 
  • Domain 2: Risk Assessment
  • Domain 3: Risk Response and Mitigation
  • Domain 4: Risk and Control Monitoring and Reporting

This course is designed to assist in your exam preparation for the CRISC exam.
