Course Overview:

This course will cover topics to ensure that students have the technical knowledge and skills required to conceptualize, design, and engineer secure solutions across complex enterprise environments.  Students will be able to apply critical thinking and judgement across a broad spectrum of security disciplines to propose and implement solutions that map to enterprise drivers.  This course will prepare students for the objectives covered in the CompTIA CASP+ certification exam (CAS-004).

Instructor comments: The instructor was very well versed on the topic and knew how to apply it to real-life examples. He led the labs and was very excited about the topic which kept the interest of myself and other class members. Sometimes his volume level was a little high- however the room the class was in was very small. Too small for a big personality!

Facilities comments: I was unaware of the facility changes, but that was at no fault of anyone since I was a drop-in for the course. They were very helpful and quick to mediate the issue.

I have a much clearer understanding of networking fundamentals that I never would've received via CBTs. I'd heard really good things about Tim Burkard's teaching skills and now I know they're true. I wouldn't mind taking other classes that he teaches,
